Kano transformations? What the fuck are you talking about?

You seriously never heard of Kano transformations? back when MKII was recently released in arcades, it was supposedly the biggest most fucked up secret there ever was, or ever would be. Some people still think it's there, although no one can say what it was. It just said kano transformations in the start up of the game. if you can get to an mk2 arcade machine, flip the power switch on the top, and when it is running through all it's start up screens, read everything, you will see something that says "kano transformations".

There was no Kano morph or transformation or anything in MK2. Lots of weird stuff was written in the game, mostly in the letter jumbles when you beat it.

Then in MK3 they had the "I've never seen a kano transformation" saying and that made people think there was no way to morph Shang Tsung into Kano.

I remember seeing that saying in MK3, but never in MK2.

Let me clarify this for you; there was a rumor that Shang Tsung could morph into Kano and/or Sonya in MK2. Of course, neither of them were playable in that game, only part of one of the backgrounds.

Nightwolf's friendship in MK3 was only basically making fun of this rumor, which by the way was never proven to have in truth behind it.

Ha, that one sounds funny. I never heard it though. I heard the one that you could do a fatality that ripped off Sonya's top on the Arena level and another for MK3 that Unmasked Sub could cause a tree to grow and make Keebler Elves come out, that was my favorite.

when you enter test mode in mk3(arcade) and go into the game audits,it shows you how many times each character has been selected etc.there is also one that says "kano transformations" and tells you how many,i've had the game for 3 or 4 years and it still shows zero "kano transformations".I've allways wondered if there is something more to it or not.

I've never seen Kano Transformations listed, in MK3 Rev 2.1 the game audits have a category for Johnny Cage Transformations that is also always set to 0. I never looked at the audits in MK2.

maybe your right on that.I hav'nt looked at that stuff in a long time.I'll try to check it out later today,I'll also check the mk2 audit screens.

Kano transformations are in the audits for MK II.

There was one f#@!^ed up rumor that in MK2, Shang Tsung could morph into people like Daffy Duck and Bill Clinton.
