so we've all heard about Kitana being in the home versions of MK4 (using cheat devices)... but can someone clue me in on some things of her?

Does her name appear in the life bar? Does she have her own moves at all (I heard her fan is in it)? I found a pic of her on google... just looks like tanya with black clothing. Is she only in the n64 and psx versions? How about the pc version? Thanks in advance!

I'm going to answer this the best way I can, yes her name does appear in the lifebar, but when she wins, her name is not annonce, also she doesn't have her own moves, she only has three moves and two of them are Tanya's ground fireball and air fireball(same effect as Tanya instead of setting you on fire like Noob Saibot fireballs does) and the other is Sonya's Square Wave Punch, also she does has a fan for her weapon, but its has the exact same moves as Tanya's boomerang, her fatalites consist of Johnny Cage's Torso Rip and Sonya's Leg Grab Split(but just like Noob Saibot in this game, there is no way of doing them manually, you have to turn on the shortcut for fatalities in the cheats menu, but her Prison Stage & Goro's Lair Fatality code are the same as Noob Saibot and can be done manually) and your right, she is Tanya but with a lighter skin tone and also her attire is just like Tanya's, but black, also from what I know, she is only in the N64 because her model was needed for Liu Kang's ending because the N64 didn't used movie endings like the Playstation & PC did, and also I believe that since Playstation & PC where using movie endings, her model wasn't needed in these version so it was deleted, but her moves are still there, also I heard you could play as her in the PC version but you a patch to do so, I doubt it if you can find it now, I hope I help you Sea_Serpent.

thats cool.... never knew that. I just thought Kitana was an entire rip of Tanya with all of Tanya's moves and finishers. Kinda cool that she is different, even tho shes taking things from other characters.

Couple more questions... for the N64... how do you play as her? Which cheat device is it? Does she have a weapon? I know she doesn't have an ending, but what happens when you beat the game with her? Freezes up? or simply skips the part where everyone else has an ending?

I know it was a GameShark, and I know that in the N64 version she has a fan. I think the game just skipped the part where it was supposed to play the ending. I don't have my GameShark anymore so I can't really test this all out, and it was a few years ago the last time I did this.

Yes, a gameshark is needed to play as Kitana, its 800FE293 0010 for Player 1, and 80126E8F 0010 for Player 2, but with these codes for example as soon as you pick your fighter and go to the ladder screen, you have to press start very quickly because Kitana doesn't have a select screen image, and she doesn't have an ending and she uses Sonya's handstand neckbreaker as her bonebreaker.

That would be cool, Cameleon is in UMK3 version of Sega Genesis & SNES, but he is very incomplete.

I saw her for the first time the other night while playing UMK3, and I grabbed my camera and took a picture of her. I think it was a glitch in the system that made her appear, isn't that right?
