Kung lao combo help

Hey, i can not hit this combo its driving me crazy i only hit the first part once and i cant even do that again. Its spinshield jump kick, deep jump kick spinshield all the way across the screen its a infinite combo i believe.The more i try it the more a pain it becomes sometimes i cant even get the deep jump kick to work. Then after that your suppose to hit the spinshield.I have n64 mkt i dont even know if its possible to do that on there.Im also using mame umk3 thats where i hit the first part twice.Does anybody have any tips on doing this i want to master this move and slaughter the AI.

In N64 MKT you can't do it. It only allows two Spins per combo. But you can do a spin, then jump kick/punch, dive kick miss, HP, jump kick/punch, dive kick miss, HP, repeat till it doesn't let you anymore.

The UMK3 on Mame lets you do it, but it's very hard. I can only do it in the corner as an infinite. Spin, jump kick/punch, spin, jump kick/punch, spin, repeat. You can also add in the teleport, which I wouldn't do, unless it was for show. But, some special moves can help, such as the Hat Throw. The Dive Kick can pop them up as well. Also, the character has to be jumping toward you if you want to do the across the stage infinite, you can't just do the spin right next to them.

The hard thing about the corner infinte is learning the F, D, F+RN combination to make Kung Lao spin. And for the N64 MKT, it's all timing.
Practice is the key to combos in UMK3/MKT.

Yeah its a pain trying to do it the spinningshield doesnt even work all the time.And the n64 is junk i wish i had the psx version damn to bad they wouldnt put mkt out for mat2.

If you didn't know, the spin move does the same thing in the PS version as the N64 version. But it's worse, you can only use it once in the PS.

I can do the infinite corner one on mame most of the time. Its just the other one im having real trouble with.shield jump kick deep kick shield repeat.Hopefully ill get it across the screen sometime its hard to even do the beginning of the combo.

Here's a tip, you can't be pressing up or up forward when the kick connects if you want to get a dash kick, and the dash kick has to cancel the kick pretty much on the frame it connects in order to keep them high in the air, so you have to be fast.

The respin infinite is very easy on UMK3, but try doing HP, JK, whiff dash kick instead,

once you get the timing for that down, you'll see how easy the other one is.

Thanks man for some reason that video doesnt work for me damn.Anyways i got the jump kick deep kick down good.The problem im having most of the time is landing and doing the spinshield sometimes i swear i press it and nothing happens other times ill land and spin where both on ground and im spinning but hes a few inches away iv hit the move a few times.But cant do it all the time.Is there any tips like when land and press fdf r.Im using the mame verison 1.2 im wondering if it would be easier to hit that move on the 1.1 version since it has more bugs.

Just do the motions, there's no other way to explain it, there's something up with your input I think because I can get the spin on command on the KB about 95% of the time. Fiddle with your input settings in mame's properties, right click the game in the list, click properties, go to controllers and uncheck direct input if it's checked, if it's not checked, check it and try again. Some versions of mame have steadkey support and stuff as well, and they can hamper with motions that require 3 different keys to be pressed, like half circles, the feel is simliar in Kawaks, where you have to labor the motion so much it's not worth even trying.
