In an interview at IGN, Ed Boon said that Darrius was the last character he add to MK Deception.

We know that Nitara was the last character to be added to MKDA and Reiko was the last one to be added to MK4.

Who was the last character to be added in MK1-2-3?

Noob Saibot was the last added to MK II.

If you want to count Meat then he was last in MK4(arcade). Goro was if you count the console versions.

I guess it depends on how you look at "added" characters. Technically any pallet swaps weren't truly added to the game, they were manipulations of existing characters, even if they were entirely original concepts. Sonya was the last actual character added to MK1, but Reptile was later added to the game. Noob Saibot was the last hidden character to be added to MK2, therefore being the last character, but I don't know who the last character was in MK2 that is on the selection screen.

Etc.
