I think learning the faitalies naturally in MK is pretty much inpossible. I could see if you mistakenly did Johhny Cage's fatality back in MK1 ( ->, ->, ->, HP), but most if not all fatality in general in each MK games have like 1000s of combonations if not more. Unless you heard or read I don't think one could say " I was trying to figure out Baraka's fatality in MK2, and I thought to myself maybe it is back, forward, down, forward, HP. Its sort of like hitting the lottery, chances are slim of"naturally" doing one.

Its possible though. Gamesmaster had a challenge on MK4 when it first came out, for the players to find as many moves and fatalities as they could. Off the top of me head, they did Liu Kang's dragon, Sub-Zero's spine rip and Scorpion's toasty.

I did Shang Tsungs in MK:DA. It just happened once, and I didn't know what the combination was. I almost freaked out.

Yeah, i discovered most of the special moves and finishing moves in "WCW/nWo Thunder" on my own, of which a great deal were 4 or 5 button combinations. Took me bloody forever.
The only one i never got was Raven's Evenflow because it was a completly different format.

It's perfectly possible, if you have a hell of a lot of time. I've even done a few in MK4 by accident. Brutalities on the other hand, i can't beleive anybody would have ever discovered on they're own.

Yeah, I was pissed off about the computers doing them to me all the time. So, I tried to do Kabals. He was my favorite character, so I had to try it. I figured out that HP was the starter for it, and after awhile I figured out that BL was the second hit, and so and so forth. Soon, I figured out it was HP, BL, LK, LK, LK, HK, LP, LP, LP, HP, LP. It's the easiest of them all, IMO.

I'd say Brutalities are easier to learn in a sense, because you'll know right away what you're doing right and what you're doing wrong. With any other finisher, there's no way of knowing... and most of the time, if you manage to pull one off it usually catches you by surprise and you'll have no idea how you did it.... Well, that's my experience, at least. :P
