"NOW YOU MUST BATTLE WITH AN UNDISCOVERED WARRIOR FROM MORTAL KOMBAT ONE PREPARE YOURSELF TO RETURN TO GORO'S LAIR"

I didn't know Smoke, jade and noob were in mk1! then I realized, THEY'RE NOT!
Well if you think about it, Noob was is mk1, or atleast his soul was,
COUGHsubzeroCOUGH.

Is this some kind of marketing strategy or something, fill us kids with false hope to goback to the arcade with an mk1 machine and give midway more money? MKII is tnot the only time this happend, who do you think started the SU rumor in deception, a n00b? possibly, but we know who really did it (midway team).
What really grinds my gears was shaolin monks and thos game over messages. Like that quan chi, and noob siabot was in the game. Come one, the creaters are profesionals that have been making mortal kombat for over a decade. wouldnt they know if they would "RUN OUT OF TIME" Even if that is the truth, how hard is it to remove a couple of random messages? And, doesn't it make more sense to give hints and messages AFTER they make the game? How would they know what was going to be in the game before they made it? You would think a group of pros would be able to tell if they are going to tun out of time to know if they are going to put all the stuff in the game.

Hold on, my tin foil hat is slipping...

It probably doesn't seem easy to respond, you can stand up for the midway team, don't worry I wont go on some crazy rant against you, but the truth is out there...

I guess they didn't expect someone to get that deep into the game were it would actually be that big of a deal if they said a SECRET character was in the game, then not put them in it.

I have a little story about the three being in MK (Obvioulsy this is part of my fan-fic):

Noob Saibot, as everyone must know by now, was as...
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Sub-Zero

Smoke: He could be the support of Sub-Zero (as was during the younger mission). But since Sub-Zero had his own plans after the end of the tournament (he planned to use the money and retire from that life) he could just made Smoke return.

Jade: She was spying Shang Tsung as Shao Kahn's request. She was the one who drag Tsung's uncoscious body to return to Outworld to receive his punishment for his failure. She could also report of the success in the tournament.

That's a little story I made for my fic. Hope you liked it

Of course, they could be in the first mk storywise. That's actualy not the first time I heard something like that blind kenshi wink . But if they say hidden 'warrior' the majority of people expected to find them as fightable characters in mk1.

i think they just say warriors from MK1 to add kind of Mystery to the game. To give that feeling of unfound characters in the game.. and look what it's done, were talkin about a game from 1992, and it's... 2006 now?

LOOK! OMG! IT'S SMOKE!!

anyways.. as far as the ermac myth goes.. it's just a palette glitch.. much like these below..

Well Ermac was in MK1 because he was a secret character & Jade, & Noob were in MK2 because they were behind the trees.

I guess they thought that if they mixed them together & claimed that they were on the same game because are you really going to go & play the game just to see if they were telling the truth? Some yes but majority of people won't.

WHO BROUGHT UP ERMAC!? msims, no one even mentioned anything related to ermac. That was totally off topic. Whenever some one argues about ermac the thread eventualy closes. So either go away, or post soething relative. we didn't say anything about glitches either.... nice pix though, they could be very handy.

For a while I actually thought that it meant that it was Jade, Noob, and Smoke hiding in Goro's Lair, since thats where you fight them. But, who knows. This was probably not the answer, seeing as how the eyes are still back there.

But, you got Noob's explanation pretty clear, though its highly doubtful they had that story thought up that long ago. And, if anyone bought those G.I.Joe MK toys back in 94 then you know Smoke was the only one released with the original Mk1 characters. Though his filecard on the back dosen't relate to his story.
