Sorry, as far as I know you cannot. Make a new profile and write down your password. Be sure to make the password simple so it is easier to remember.

why didnt you write your profile code down in your manual. there was a space provided for it, i wrote mine down in there.

You even notice the page in the instruction book where it lets you write down your code?

I read somewhere how you can get back your password. You can get it back using the following trick:

Start a new profile with any name, then press "Done". After you pick an icon, it will ask you to put in a password, giving an example password for you. The password the game gives you (as an example) will be the same as your old one. Copy the example password that you were given and delete the new profile. Use this password with your old profile and it should work.
