I only recently bought a copy of MK:DA on xbox (classics version) and have noticed that while watching the Making of MK the video seems to pause occasionally, with the dvd drive spinning down then back up to speed (MK History and the immortal song are fine). Has anyone else had this sort of problem?? is it the disc? the drive?? or something else?? Also is the classics version anyway different than the original version??

Hey Im not sure if this is only on X-Box but my normal version of MK:DA for ps2 doesnt slow down at all during making of MK. I'm probably wrong but unless there are scratches on ur disk, then its just a MK:DA classic version gltich or sumtin to do with the X-box version.

The same thing happens on my PS2 disc, I can watch the whole making on MKDA, but it skips and freezes on the History of MK right before it gets to MK3

Dirty lens. Buy a cleaner, stick it in, should fix all.

yeah i thought dirty disc/lens as well but both the xbox and game are brand new?!

I noticed that my disc has a slight mark in a circle about 2cm in from the edge?? Could it be the xbox be marking the disc??

Mine plays the films well, BTW, I have the GC version. Did you notice the scratch before playing the game? If not, then maybe you should exchange your X-Box.

it was after the 3rd/4th time i played that i noticed, only after i saw the problem in the video. Although i did play the game in my friends xbox a bit while, maybe it was his that caused the mark. I've tried a few other games in mine, and a few CD's and nothing has happend to them??

Then chances are it was your friend's X-Box that damaged it. Ask him if any of his/her discs have become scratched, and if so, tell him/her to get the X-Box fixed. As for your game, I saw a product in EB Games that can fix scratches on CDs/DVDs, so maybe you should consider buying one, or see if you can exchange the game for a new one.
