MAT2 UMK3 or MK3 & Why

I am a little excited that the original two MK games are finally being put on next gen systems. Hopefully they'll sound as good as they look so far. The only one question I have is why MK3? Why not Ultimate MK3 arcade style. Playstation allready had MK3 released. I still own it to this day, and I'd hate to have a second copy of it available. I'd still like to see an Ultimate MK3 for Playstation/X-Box. We have an upgraded version available, sort of if you count Trilogy, but not even the Saturn which I also have has an exact arcade duplicate of Ultimate MK3. We'll just have to wait, and see which version they fianlly decide to place inside the MAT2. Anything can change at the last minute on that version. What would you guys like to see. MK3 or the Ultimate MK3 which in my opinion is a little better? Maybe we'll get the arcade Demo spoiler with Rain, and Noob hanging around.

I'm pretty sure they aren't releasing UMK3 and MK4 on there because they are saving them for another MAT, this way they can milk as much money out of it as possible. This way these two games will be the chunk of the interest.

I'm pretty sure Rain was in all the demos of UMK3(could be wrong though). But if they would include UMK3 I wouldn't mind seeing the Wavenet version included.
I'm hooping even though it's very doubtful that when they say MK3 they mean both. Since UMK3 is just a rom upgrade/clone. So maybe since these are being emulated they are including UMK3 also since MK3 is the parent rom.
They probably are just going to save it for MAT3 so they have a sure fire way of selling it.

The Wavenet version is pretty much a hack of UMK3 1.2 like the MK2 hacks that are floating around. I talk to one of the guys who refitted it, and they changed some things that would make it strange to people who never saw it and most people don't even know it was done. I would like to see it as a bonus though in another MAT since we probably won't see UMK3 in MAT2. The only new character in Wavenet was Noob Saibot, and they tried to balance some of the other characters but even though they added start up to Kabal's spin, he's still numero uno.

I'd like to see UMK3 in MAT2 for the PS2 cus I still own MK3, which was the first game I ever bought for my PSX. I also have MKT but I've heard that UMK3 is much better than the both of them. But I very much doubt UMK3's inclusion this time around - hopefully next time, cus I'd like to own a copy of every MK game. (Except maybe Special Forces)

We also have to consider the time frame here. If they are going to release yet another MAT after 2, when the Hell is going to come out? Next summer? They should have just put every incarnation of an arcade MK on this one and charge $29.99 instead of $19.99 and be done with it. They'd make more money in the long run because so many people would jump at the chance to get MK, MKII, MK3, UMK3, and MK4 all in one shot. Waiting only hurts their sales. We'll just have to see how this one sells.
Had MKT been another upgrade to the UMK3 system, such as adding rom chips to the arcade board, it would have been the definitive MK game. Theoretically with MUGEN, it's still possible to do that, I just don't have the patience to program all that. If anyone happens to do MUGEN programming, DreemerNJ and I could lend a hand in explaining the intricacies of the game.
