I'm not the MK2 wiz that a lot of other folks here are but Mileena's projectile is insanely fast in both how quickly it moves across the screen and how fast you can fire them off. On top of that the ball and the drop kick are good anti-air. Jax can punish turtlers with the pound, jumpers with the air throw, it's just devastation.

What does Kung have that makes you think he's top? I don't get it. Please explain. He's good, but not that good.

one millenas move s can be penalized really hard if made. and really kung laos defense is his best offense.
i think that jaxs is prbly his hardest fight.
millena cancel jaxxe theres nothing he can do vs. unlimted millena sai's that cancel him
you could use kang vs millena but, he cant beat jaxxs or kitana
kung lao is the only one that can beat both. it would just be a hard fight vs jax. kung lao, plays his own game he has no restrictions. to cover the board thru the air is one of the main reason hes tops. did you see that mk unit on ebay thats for sale for 1299 it has mk2,3,4 in it. i

Let's see... You can throw his hats in rapid succession (it doesn't take much to get fast with them), you have the bullet kick you can use instead of the normal "drop kick" to quickly ward of opponents and to gain an offensive stance on them, as well as for the mid-air "drop kick" battle were whoever gets the kick off first gets the hit. Hiw whirl-wind wards off all non-projectile attacks, and his teleport opens up a good 3-4 hit attack when your opponent is least expecting it.
I don't know, it's just my opinion, I use him well anyway, and can do most of his moves fast enough to be on the offensive more than defensive.

Jax - HK - Ground Pound. The best strat in the game against turtles, yeah some air characters can escape it but then the only way is to attack. One throw goes into multi throw + ground pound again. One close hammer goes to 50+, TAK leads to backbreacker. Large area for his fireball, you just cant attack him everytime safely. He can be danger in corner too, his only weaknes is his jabs.
Mileena - The key to her combos is the roll, even then you cant always get jp-air sai or tel kick. Yeah you can zone with low aaSais but a good scorpion player and also good jax player can beat that. Good jabs and almost impossible to jump against her if its a good mileena player. More danger in corner than jax, in left corner you can easy inf everybody. Good Sweep too.
Liu Kang - Almost perfect zonner, there is actually almost nothing you can do against far low fireball + close low fireballs (except moves that has shorter starter frames). Flying Kick and Bike Kick are good wake ups which can be easy counterd anyway but good against more than half screen ducked fireballs and etc. Awesome Uppercut and RH which makes you hard to attack him. His JK has high area and you can almost always add high fireball and flying kick or low fireball even blocked. Bad combos in corner although he has corner inf its almost impossible in vs game, but you will say goodbye at last to 60%+ for your energy.
Kitana - The Fan lift is broken as hell - JK, Air Fan and Wave Punch is easy against almost everyone. Jabs like Mileena. In corner you can get even 100% with the Fan. Low Air fans sometimes combined with Wave Punch depends against who you are playing with. Good sweep, Close Jabs, Low Air Fans and Fan Lift the opponent dont need more than two mistakes to be dead.
Kung Lao - Can zone with the hat throw but difficult. aaSpin leads to huge combos if you can counter jumpes with it. Late div kicks can easy trick the opponent and you can always add it after aajp or aajk. You can also go for corner traps with blocked spins. Good jabs too but easy can be uppercuted by some characters. The Teleport can almost always be countered from ducked character or turtle, its tricky to do it with early SUJK against them. You cant use it to escape corner traps and it actually is only 100% save when you can escape mid-screen characters, useless against most characters.

then kitana gets owned by jaxs. they had to flip a coin to see got to pick last. it was that tuff.
as far as millena sai's, kung doesnt have to telelport he can jump it then depending on millenas next move he has 3 options. teleport is to dangerous for anyone to do thats death.

Kung Lao can jump into Mileena's sai? Seems like a bad idea. If she does the sai high the jump will hit it, if she does it low, she'll recover before Kung can do anything.

as far as millena sai's, kung doesnt have to telelport he can jump it ...
against good mileena player he cant!

millena, has too many moves that lead to big counters that cost her big, so, it does'nt take much to kil her.

well if your not going to use the sai's that gives kung lao a better chance to move in. his grab and butt kick are much better.

So Lao is top tier, but only if the opponent doesn't know how to use Mileena?
