Juist beat MKII on the 360 version... and didn't get the achievement. I'm really pissed off right now,,,, That's inexcusable.

Yeah, it's a common glitch. I got my achievements for MK and MK2, but I've beat UMK3 3 times now and still haven't gotten the achievement. It's terrible that this happened to you with MK2, absolutely the toughest game in the series.

I actually find UMK3 by far the hardest and it's mostly because of Shao Kahn. I still haven't managed to beat him. Any tips, good sir?
You have to repeatedly jump over him and then uppercut from the opposite side. If he performs an upward shoulder charge, he will most likely hit you so there is quite a bit of luck involved. It normally takes me 4 or 5 tries to take him down. Also make sure you take advantage of the free hit when he taunts you, especially if you are using subzero or Scorpion.
If you use Sindel, duck (don't block). If he shoots his fireball, it will pass under you, if he does his rising dash, you can uppercut him afterward, and if he hits you with his straight dash, you will recover fast enough to be able to run in and combo.
When you knock him down, run in and wait until he gets up, then combo as he's starting another attack. You'll beat him to the punch. Just practice, and you'll get this timing down.
