Ha,this is by far the strangest thread i have ever came across.But No Mk is nothing like the Terminator movies.If your using the example as 1 was great and second sucked or whatever.You could then compare MK to alot of other trilogys.Like starwars.

But alas I gotta say the Terminator 2 battle through time was the best movie out of them all even though is was the 3D movie at universal.That was great.

But really. Have you not been to message boards about the classic MK's much? UMK3 has, without a doubt, the best gameplay of all the MK's. Mk2 is a broke turtlefest. Its got cool fatalities, if that's what you are playing the game for (and a vast majority of MK2 fans played just for that) but other than that, it's basically UMK3 minus balance, speed, and a real competitive feel.

actually im 27 and been playing MK since 1992 when the first MK was released for arcade, and MK1 and 2 was the only two good classics, MK3,UMK3 and MKT where garbage ask any MK pro fighting player.

I've also played MK since day 1... and while I feel MK1 & 2 were the best quality wise and in terms of originality... I have to admit that UMK3 was (and still is) the best PLAYING of the MK franchise.

The MK games are nothing like the Terminator movies. They don't even have Austrians, WTF?. Unless Shao Kahn was from Austria. Which I doubt. Games need more Austrians.

T3 didn't suck, it just didn't live up to T2.Beside, storyline wise it makes perfect sense.

T4 will be the future war, can't wait.

UMK3 is the best MK so far from a gameplay point of view, however I'm optimistic MK:A will be up there with parries, throw escapes and them getting rid of OTG's, infinites and free throws.Even if there's like 3 or 4 infinites, I can live with that.

MK3 and MKT are not good for tournaments. Arcade UMK3 is far better than Any MK for tournaments.

There are only a handful of pro UMK3 players, and even fewer pro MK2 players.

Is there anything in particular about MK2 that makes it better than UMK3? Because so far you've just been noobing it up with the "It sucks because its garbage" argument.
