I helped create sub-zero and most of his moves. Like his sub-xerox for example, the inspiration came to me when I was making copies for John Vogel on a Xerox and right then I had a revelation. So I pitched the idea to John and Ed Boon and they were overjoyed. That is quite the story. Anyways, Sub-Zero_7th you are right that Sub-Zero is part of the Lin Kuei. But, the Lin Kuei is a NINJA clan. If you dont believe me check out the booklet for MK trilogy that comes with the cd and on page 24 you will see that in both sub-zero's (unmasked and original) they make a reference to him being a ninja. Also, check out the OFFICIAL mortal kombat trilogy fighters kompanion and on page 20 you will see that it says "sub-zero was betrayed by his NINJA clan, the Lin Kuei. Its too bad you suck at Kombat and know nothing about it. Its kinda sad really. Secondly, yes that is the exact reason I got fired and John almost peeing his pants was quite the sight. Yes it does have both qualities and if you read my post you will realize that I was upset about this "error" that could have been corrected to make MK a more realistic game. you had nothing to do with the creation of sub-zero. read the official mortal kombat 2 magazine series (1-5). it tells how they came up with sub-zero and the rest of the characters..as well as their fatalities.

what about mkm? it was made after trilogy. to quote sub-zero:"im am not a ninja, i am lin kuei, scorpion was a ninja"..just cause it says "ninja clan" doesnt mean anything..it says warrior clan in mk4, so??. read the mkm story..the lin kuei arent a ninja clan, the shirai ryu was the first ninja clan.

in the mkt book for n64 it says rain was lin kuei, but he isnt as its a printing error...in mkda (and mkte) they spelled shinnok as "shinook"...


and how would you get fired for beating john??? if he worked for midway..and you worked for midway..then john couldnt fire you midway would. john had no say in who got fired. he (as well as boon) was just the head of the creation team. they work for midway. if they dont deliver the goods, then they get fired. the company decides who works on what...and i strongly doubt midway fired you for beating john..in fact, i know they didnt.

Well I think you need to be taught a few lessons about the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu.

The Lin Kuei existed way before Ninjas were created. Some of the Lin Kuei techniques were incorporated into certain styles of Ninjitsu. Lin Kuei is chinese for Forest Demon. Ninja is Japanese for Silent Warrior. See the difference?

Shirai Ryu is one of 73 schools of Togakure Ryu (now called Bujinkan) Ninjitsu. Togakure Ryu is known as one of the oldest styles of Ninjitsu.

Lin Kuei has a Shr-Lin (grandmaster) and U-Lin (wizard) while in the Ninja, there are Jonin (leaders), Chunin (elders), and Genin (standard warriors)

I'm aware of the bios and endings from the MK games that refered to the Lin Kuei as "Ninjas" but the MK team fixed the storyline so that it can be more accurately related to the Lin Kuei in real life when they came out with MKM: Sub-Zero.

And please don't call me Jr. or question my knowledge and skill in Mortal Kombat, because I've been playing MK games for many years. If you think you know so much about MK and think that I don't know enough, I dare you to test your skills against ]0MBAT.

Ok first of all Zentile you said mkm says that the Lin Kuei dont like to call themselves ninjas. I worked at Midway until MKT and had nothing to do with that change. They were ninjas until then and I have every right to call them so. Secondly, Boon and Tobias did make the decisions, but I came up with some ideas. This is why I matter. Just because I didnt make the Final decision doesn't mean they dont need other people involved with the thought process.

Scorpio- I claimed that I HELPED create sub-zero. I offered the sub-xerox which came in MK3, which is after the books were made. Even so, you don't even know who I am so how could you make that claim in the first place. Secondly, I never once said JOHN fired me, I simply said I was fired from Midway. Please actually read my post next time and try to understand it.

Sub-Zero 7th- I worked until MKT as previously stated and had nothing to do with that change. That change does not affect me.

Finally I wanted to ask The_Purple_Bunny to be accurate in his claims of derogitory comments.
