Yep,they were great graphics,MK 1 digitized graphics where something new back in 1991,that's what made MK different from the rest of the fighting games,MK2's graphics were excellent too,the outworld arenas were amazing.From MK3 i really liked the graphics in some arenas like The Bell Tower,The Temple,The Graveyard and The Soul Chamber,from UMK3 i liked Scorpion's Lair.In 3D MK i was amazed with the details in some arenas from MK:DA like Shang Tsung's Palace,Shang Tsung's Palace Grounds,The Acid Bath and one of the most amazing was The Lost Tomb.I think the MK Team had some great ideas when it comes to the game graphics in past MK games and in new ones.

Yes i absolutely love the Mortal Kombat graphics. Love the style of MK2 and UMK3. Even now, the digitized characters, i believe, are far better than trying to render them in 3D.

I liked all the graphics. The arenas and the background were amazing. The digitalized characters in the game were awesome esp. the renders in MK4/G. MKDA/D's 3D renders looked awesome too. Please don't use many emoticons next time. Thanks

All of the graphics and backgrounds and all of that were great for all of the games. I stilll play these games and I look at how good the graphics were back in the day and how theyre good today.

The first 3 games looked extremely realistic, because they weren't restricted to what the artists could draw with using digitized actors. Every move is real.

But then MK4 happened.
