earlier this year (around feb) i was getting into racing rc trucks (my interest faded out after a few weeks)i came up with this idea to have a custom made MKDA truck. but i never got around to doing it. it had scorpion on the hood surrounded in fire. it said "spear this" in the back window and had a spear going down the right side of the truck. on the left side it said "scorpion". the top of the truck had the mk dragon logo, and the tail gate read "mortal kombat". i even came up with custom yin-yang wheels...they looked really cool. but i never got around to finishing it due to loss of interst in rc racing.

and over the last few days, ive done my homework and im starting a very cool project. im building my own MKDA arcade. and i have every intention of finishing this. it will take a few weeks to get done, possibly longer. everything i was doing has been put on hold for a while..so konqrr, i'll finish that vid next time i get the chance. i'll probably get some mkda arcade action on it as well.

ive came up with the basic design i want, and i think it will look sweet. im not gonna give it away just yet, but when i get it finished, i'll post pics of it. (im also working on an mkda championship belt. i made a basic mk belt a few years ago, but its ran its course)

so, those are my current mk projects. does anyone else have any mkda or mk related projects they are working on?, have already done? or are planning on doing?
if so, share them.

Yes, I do as a matter of fact. Its kinda like yours. But I've been basically waiting for it to be done.

I have a cousin who does tatoos and baically draws all the time. And ya know how most tatooits are good at their art. Anyways the Alternate costume of scorpion was going to be put on the hood of my 1967 Ranchero. But with some touchups done to it to suite it right. He said he could make it look like he was comming out of the hood. It seems to be a interesting project for to be done. But dont get me wrong im not 100% its gonna be done. But if it does get done yall be the first to know and see the pics. heh

sounds cool. i though about that a couple of times but never did it. i plan on getting the mk dragon logo tatoo on my arm somewhere.

what made me wanna build my own arcade is i was on ebay looking at mk stuff. i came across a few mk acrades. ive always wanted one, but theyre kind of expensive brand new. i dont want a half assed used one. and mk arcades are hard to find in great shape. and if i did find one, it was out of my price range. and i also thought "too bad mkda will never be in arcades" and then it hit me. i'll make my own arcade, and make it a mkda arcade. i did a lot of research on it and decide to go for it. i start working on the cabinet later today and hope to have in done in a few days.

I've thought about doing that too, the dragon is so classic. And it looks good on cars too. I remember in the Fast and the Furious one guy had a big MK dragon symbol on his hood, it kicked ass.

An arcade? Wow, that's something really cool. I would love to have that arcade feel with MK:DA!

I have an MK project, too (I mentioned it a couple of times).

I'm working on a fictional game called Mortal Kombat Legacies, sort of an MK6. Other than the usual wishlists it's actually a very detailed script of a new game, with characters, backgrounds, gameplay details, misc stuff, game modes, etc etc. I might even try my hand at drawing some of my ideas too. I expect it to be finished within a week or two, and then I'll unleash it on the MK6 forum for critical peer review.

xgaming.com Is what I was going to use for the Arcade cabinet. They sell cabinets you can buy. Basically all you gotta do is buy one and have it professionally painted somewhere. That is if you want to spend more than $1000

You might be able to find a printing company that could make you some big stickers for it using some of the MKDA art available online. Maybe even something like Kinkos could do that.

i thought about getting stickers made, but i decided to hand paint it. i want it to be orginal.

I've added new moves, combos, SUPERS, and finishers. It was fun at the time but my programming skills have MUCH improved since then. They have many cool features.

damn thats pretty cool. it would be easy to make one of those.

you can get a crapload of info about arcades and such here:http://www.arcadecontrols.com/arcade.htm

it has all the info you need on building controllers, arcades, etc. has a pretty big cabinet archive...if they dont have what youre looking for, they probably have a link that will get you there..lol.
