I had this controller for Playstation, it looked like a Boomerang. It had tear drop shaped buttons and a really smooth d-pad. It was great.

But, on the bottom left side of the d-pad the plastic of the controller face stuck out and had a rather sharp edge. At first that edge wore away at my skin leading to an open wound on my thumb. But, I kept playing and eventually I wore the plastic down until it was rounded off.

I got one when playing MK1 with my cousin Devron. When we reached the Test Your Might stage, I saw his energy bar fill up in less than a second. I looked at what he was doing, and he was grinding the two buttons with his knuckles. I tried it, and cut myself almost right after doing it. I was obviously doing it way too hard than he was.

I still have you Alps Interactive Controller Batterang controller Mike, if I remember correctly it stopped functioning properly. I would take a picture of the wear down around the sharpe plastic edge, but I don't think it'd be possible to tell, I remember the thumb slices as well, it was a great enough controller to endure the pain lol. The tear drop shaped buttons made impossible to not press two buttons at once if you wanted to, and they had such contrast to the controller itself, along with the DPad, that it was nearly impossible to ever not perform the preferred attack.

Thats the same way I do it, the knuckle sliding is soooo effective, in DA I can break everything except the last 2 items, in less than a second. The knuckle sliding F***ing hert at first, a similar "injury" was some d-pads would rub my thumb almost raw, I had to stop playing for a few minutes, until I didn't notice the pain. Those were the worst non angry opponent injuries.

One time my little brother got a mild eletric shock from an arcade cabinet. I have no idea how that even works, but it happened. Nothing serious, just a "Ow! What the hell?!" kinda thing.

One time I tried doing Raiden's torpedo move and hit the TV screen with my face. I should have been looking down, like him.

I did the same thing with MK1 on the Genesis, only I didn't stop. I did it until I had grinded the top few layers of skin off of my knuckles, It was a veyr painful week for me.

this happened last year, was quite an embarassment.

i had this circular pane of glass (i have a new one now) and it was on the floor, i was playing mkm:s-z, i was really getting close to beating shinnok, i was just about to beat him... and i did... i got off the sofa, in cheer... i slipped on a piece of paper on the floor, fell backwards and broke the circular pane of glass with my head, some cuts and a spliting headache, but it's all good now, just remeber, never step on paper on carpet... that is a slipery bitch of a fall... you'd think carpet would have a softer fall... thought wrong...

WHY IN THE HELL were you torpedoing the screen in the first place?
