Hi, I'm pretty new on here but I have a serious problem. I own a PS2 and found the old PSX Mortal Kombat Trilogy for cheap so of course I got it. Now when I play the game in my PS2 it starts up just fine. However, when I beat the game with any character it locks up on me. Also if I let the timer in arcade mode or any other mode count down to zero, the game locks up! What am I to do. MKT was possibly my favorite of the side scrolling Kombat games. furious

MKT is one of the known games to have problems on the PS2....i've heard the later releases (ie Greatest Hits) work ok. if you have the newer version then maybe its scratched or something......

I very much appreciate the help regarding the GH version but that's the very version I own. For some reason though it acts a lot like the older glitched out versions. I can't for the life of me understand this, and MKT sucks on 64 (especially emulated) and I'm not in a position to go out and get a PSX right now. Oh the humanity!! lol Whatever will I do?furious

I took IceBurgSlim's advice and just got the PC version off of a friend of mine. Now I hope that it works with my old timey sidewinder 8 button controller! lol Thanks for the help guys.
