I open this up for discussion once again. Do you think that possibly, the hidden characters were going to be playable in the Genesis version of MK2, or is it just the luck of the programming? You decide.

I think that nothing can be ruled out. I believe in Kano transformations...
I have tried these before.
I'm not sure why he said they don't freeze the game too often.
Well, when I tried Smoke and tried to do his spear, using back, back, lp (like scorpion) it froze instantly.
I'ts true about Kintaro and Kahn tho, they really screw the game up. Kintaro's punch makes him move backward at the same time, lol.

YES THEY ARE PLAYABLE IN GENESIS VERSON OF MK2...ONLY THROUGH GAME GENIE CODES....AND IN SUPERNES VERSION ONLY IN BETA CARTRIDGES....

That's not what I meant. Basically, my question is if they were meant to be playable in the Genesis version originally with like, a secret push button code or something.

It's a shame they couldn't have done a Street Fighter Alpha style Random Select cheat. But a MK4 style cheat would have worked out well.

*begins imputting MK4 Noob Saibot and Goro codes into MKII*
