That is a glitch. Kahn means You will die. Being a Shao Kahn fanatic, you have to knows these things.

Yah I know what shao Kahn says, I heard "I will Die, mortal". I know what I heard I was sitting like 3-4 feet away from the TV and volume was up Loud.

No one is doubting you. It probably is a glitch or Midway hurried this game. It wouldn't be the first hurried game.

Perhaps the game started playing the "I RULE THIS WORLD" line then right after the "I" it jumped to the middle of the "YOU WILL DIE MORTAL" sample. That's all I can think of; stranger things have happened i guess.

Well Shao Kahn wouldn't say I will die. That is stupid. Next, there could have been some problems in recording. Midway had to reprogram the game so it could be used as such. I had MK 2 on Sega Genesis and all Kahn said is "Is that your best" and "I am Shao Kahn." He said about two others, but he had more on the Arcade version. So my guess is Midway rushed their product so they could get money off of those MK fanatics who miss the old days of MK.

Odd, I remember Playing Sega Version of MK2 and I remember Kahn Saying "You will Die, Mortal"........

I don't think its a glitch, more of the voice's jumping over the other. Shao Kahn will say 'I am Shao Kahn, bow to me" at the end of a fight but sometimes going into the next round it would cut it off saying "you will die mortal". its happened a few times for me, wouldn't say its a glitch though.

i know this has nothing to do with this post but... i think the Sony PSP sucks... i never seen it or played it but the way i see it, is even if it has graphics like ps1 or ps2 it will still suck... cause 250+ dollars for a damn handheld gameing system is a RIP OFF i would never pay that... plus with cartrdiges (or is it game disks?) and that small ass screen... i expected it to be the same price or cheaper than ps2 or xbox consoles since those systems are superior.

but sony knows it will sell (since it has the "sony" name) so they sucking every last drop of cash out of the people they can get.... i always thought handheld gameing sucked... back in the days i used to have a gameboy.... but once u get used to PC/Consoles.... anything else flat out sucks lol.

only game i still think is good is "tetris" thats about it for gameboy wise that i still like.... everything else is a major downgrade .... hell, even gameplay sucks on handheld games compared to there console counterparts..... but atleast nintendo ds and sony psp is closeing the gap ;)
