MK3 conversion

I have a MK3 coin-op in my home. Is there an upgrade out there to convert my game to MK4? I know you can upgrade (or update) games like Golden Tee, just wondering if I can buy a "chip" somewhere that does this for MK. I think I may be only able to upgrade to MK3 Ultimate - I would like to go to MK4.

The only thing you can upgrade MK3 to is UMK3.

I am sure you could use your old cabinet if you wanted to put MK 4 in it but the whole system is different. MK's prior to four are Jamma boards and I think the hardware for MK 4 is different altogether. Zeus Hardware I believe. You could do it but it would be expensive.

If I were you, and you like MK 4, I would buy a dedicated cabinet for MK4. I don't know your cash situation but thats what I would do. Go for the dedication.
