Why didnt MK3 for the psx ever go Greatest Hits?
To qualify for the greatest hits label, the game must be on shelves for 9 months or longer and have sold so many copies (not sure how many) but i'm sure MK3 sold pretty good as it almost launched with the psx and everyone was crazy about the "almost" perfect arcade translation. Wonder why they never took it to greatest hits?

I think by the time people started buying it they already heard about UMK3. I remember finding out about UMK3 so early that I refused to buy MK3 for PSX because I wanted to see what would come out next.

Also, I dont know how they pick their greatest hits. I was just at a game rental store near me and was suprised to see that Virtua Fighter Evolution is a greatest hit. I mean, I know its very similar to VF4, but considering its a unique title its funny that it was made a greatest hit right off the bat.

Funny? It's the best thing Sega's ever done, bringing an update to a game at $30 cheaper than anyone else would have. Greatest Hits, hell yeah.

MK3 didn't make it because of the release of UMK3 in arcades, I'm sure.
