I just got both games back today and its been atleast 5-7 years that i have played them or it seems like it.Atleast MK4 cause that game was just weird at first but then I remembered how to play it.
But the PC version of both games are alittle different i guess. For mk4 for examply, the graphics look nothing like psx and n64,they actually look worse but not horrible, but playable which is the only thing that matters right???And mkt well yea that reminded me of the saturn verison of this game. Its fun but i could barely hear the sound and music at times.I love both games but it was so different playing them on the PC.If theres anyway to play both games online(pc verison only)let me know. Nevermind i just saw that there is a option to play the pv version of MKT online...how cool is that. But on another note, wouldnt that mean that the pc verison was the first mk game to play over the internet and not MKD???

I remember MK4 for the PC, looked very nice compared to the other versions. The 64 version was much better then the crappy PS1 version which kept freezing, pausing, loading....really annoying.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy was never released on the Saturn.
You must have mistaken it by Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, wich is very similar but a lot shorter in terms of characters.

yes it was, look it up.
Are you putting the graphics on software mode in MK4 or something? they look alot better in other graphic modes.

If you manage to run MK4 for PSX through a higher res video connection than just the standard stuff PSX came with you'll see it's graphics are pretty much identical to the PC version. They are both terrible.
MK4 for N64 has much better graphics than PSX or PC. However, PSX and PC have those nifty ending videos ^_^
MKT for PC is identical to MKT for PSX. The Saturn version has identical graphics as well, however MKT for PC and PSX both have updated versions with fixed gameplay wherease the Saturn version never got updates like that. Also, I always found the graphics a little glitchy on the Saturn, but I only got to play it a few times on an actual Saturn. Then there's MKT for N64 which is fundamentally different.
MKT for PC had netplay through IPX, which means playing on a LAN, not over the internet. MK3 for DOS (and maybe the version for Windows) had LAN play as well.
You can play MKT PC over the internet using GIT (Gamer's Internet Tunnel) which lets you connect across TCP/IP to play IPX games.
So MKD really is the first MK game with built in internet play (online play), just not the first with netplay.

You know i was right about to comment on the fact that the pc version has no loading at all whatsoever even when shang morphs. And I agree the pc version is the best one of all 4.

Yeah, you're right. MKD played pretty well for the xbox, not bad for PS2 but MKD did play a lot better online then MKA. Man that game is laggy online lol.
UMK3 also is very good for the 360 as you know.
MK4 PC looked that bad man? I don't remember too well, I remember seeing it at first before I got the N64 version and I thought it was cool but then once I got my 64 version I was like hehe this version rocks, btw the N64 version has the video endings, MK:Mythology sub-zero however for the 64 doesn't support the videos.
