What is resolution on Dreamcast anyway? Is it 320x240 or 640x480? Like... MKG cinematics point in the lower one, but REs Evil Code Veronica shows menu etc. to be 640 by 480? So what's Dreamcast's resolution? I mean, even MKgold seemed like the higher one, but the cinematics seemed lower res... Please let me know...

640x480 was the resolution of almost every Dreamcast game, if not every one. Thats why the VGA boxes for Dreamcast were simple and inexpensive, they only handled one resolution and one refresh rate.

The videos however can be different resolutions and just resized to fit 640x480, and they can look very blocky depending on the quality that they were saved at. Its like the sprites in MvC2, the Dreamcast version had sprites as pixelated and blocky looking as the arcade did if you used the VGA box and saw it at 640x480.

See, that's the thing! I thought that MKG was 640x480, but then if the videos were taken from MK4 they'd be 320x240... Yet! They looked good! That's why I was confused... So DC varies, huh? Interesting!
