I have played MKII on MAT2, and tested every little detail about the game. Hidden things, and all, and everything is there. Even the Death Punch! The only things that are missing so far are Random Select, and Fighting Smoke. Has anyone noticed anything else that might be missing besides those things?
I actually love this version of Mk II. There are only a few details that bother me a little bit. For example, the Pit II fatality is a little messed up: when they hit the ground, they keep yelling for a couple more seconds (makes me twitch each time). The lack of random select sucks (I always feel like a noob picking my own character). Not fighting smoke doesn't really affect me that much. Everything is intact, every original glitch, all the sounds and music (although a little muffled, no big deal at all). I think the gameplay is a little bit faster than the original arcade, which doesn't bother me if it is true. The fact that the music in the ending credits stops after a couple of minutes doesn't get to me. Overall, I think it's the coolest thing in the world, it's what I've been waiting for since I was 10 years old.
Peace.
Peace.

Well you know, I think that it kinds sucks that not EVERYTHING is there, but otherwise pause would be disabled and we wouldn't be able to get out of the game... At all... Anyway, I don't really care much for fighting Smoke because... And I'm not proud when I say this but... Like I'm actually gonna beat him! And another thing, it's not like MK2 for PSX is sold EVERYWHERE, so unless you wanna play SNES or Genesis version, this is the only MK2 version you could play and it's also the best graphics & gameplay wise. No complaints here. EDIT: Actually, I haven't seen any of the secret characters giving any clues yet, how often does it happen? Because I never actually played MK2 on the arcade until MAT2. Ok, maybe MAME, but I don't remember it that well.

The Death Punch also does as much damage as an uppercut, possibly a little more, or 4 HPs worth, you can get anywhere from 2, to 4 hits worth, I generally get it while tapping back and HPing at the peak of then jump.
