In MKII i just got past Scorpion in my Arcade and next was the ? Square and it went past it!! What is it for? i told them to stop the game for me to post this.

What is the ? Square before Shang Tsung used for?

It's Jade,you must beat the opponent just below the "?" using only Low Kick in any of the rounds,then the message "Prepare Yourself!!" will pop out on the screen confirming that you did the trick right and you'll face Jade in Goro's Lair.

The secret fight with Jade.
You get to it by winning the match before the "?" by only pressing low kick.

You know, I'm going to have to disagree with you guys. I'm pretty sure the question mark underneath Shang Tsung is Jade. You get to her by only pressing low kick in the match before it.
