Pretty interesting, as I was really into collecting pirated games at the time. Pretty fun, you can tell it was put together by someone who really knows Mortal Kombat in and out.

Yea, I like the original backgrounds, too, like, you can tell that they weren't screenshots or anything... It's kinda interesting to just play stuff like that, especially comparing it to original, like "Oh that's the same, and that's different..."

Sorry for asking guys what game is this your taking about for the genesis. Do you guys mean mortal kombat mythologies the sub-zero one. If so that game was put on the genesis.

There is only one MK mythology Sub Zero, and the genesis version, as far as I know is pirate... You get 4 types of enemies, different colored Kanos, sonyas and Liu Kangs, and Sindel as the final boss... But the levels, Shaolin, Water, Earth and Shinnok's Fortress were interpreted very well... I don't htink it ever did come out on the market, I think it's pirate cause the characters look awful and the title is "Mortal Combat(that's right, with a C) 5: Sub Zero"

Is there any way of getting a copy of it somewhere.

I figured out some controls, but can't get 6-button config working...maybe it's only setup for 3-button?

A - turn around
b+A - block
B - punch
d+B - low kick
b+B - sweep
C - high kick
d+C - mid kick
b+C - roundhouse
d+B+C - uppercut
d,f+A - ice ball
d,b+B - ice puddle

To use an item, PAUSE then select item and press A.

I couldn't figure out how to run and didn't try to combo (don't think it's in the game). Plus, it's hard...or I just suck.

No, no combos, and he walks pretty fast as it is... But, yeah, the only thing that I hate about it is that the opponents are stronger than Shao Kahn... I'm having a hard time on the last level...
