Hi -

I'm not sure if this has been discussed or not, but I thought I'd post anyway.

I recently pulled out my N64 and played MKT for the first time in some years. I beat the game w/ Sindel, then chose the "Mega-Endurance" as my treasure. The first fighter was Noob Saibot. About 25-30 seconds or so into the match, he got one of his teleport slams to connect on me....but instead of just doing the slam, he did the "Teleport Slam" fatality, and went to his win pose.

The screen never darkened, the timer kept running, and the music never changed. Eventually time ran out, and I expected a "Noob Saibot Wins: Fatality" to be heard. However, since I had done more damage to him before the fatality actually occured, I actually won. Since the fatal was a glitch, it treated the round like it was decided by the timer running out and said "Sindel Wins: Fatality" as Noob posed in front of my exploded corpse.

Anyone else seen this?

Thats has happened to me before. I was amazed that that happened, and thought it was super cool. Funny thing is that I think I was Sindel as well when it happened. It has happened a long time ago. :.\ Cool Glitch

Try again with Sindel and see, there are lots of character specific glitches here and there in games. If you do Scorpion's Pack Fatality on Sheeva in UMK3 arcade on the Subway, it resets the game.
