I got a Copy of The Mortal Kombat II Japanese Game for PlayStation®1 (Although The whole Game is in English); The BGMs are Funny, but it's still a Great Game!
PM Me.

How are the load times and announcers?I heard there were some sound effects missing. It looks arcade perfect to me but it looks like some of the pics are fake(Sub-Zero and the Raiden pics).
Good fakes if they are.
Good fakes if they are.
Nope, No Fakes there.
Load Times are Short, The MKII Logo Appears at The Bottom Left Side of The Screen when Loading something; BGMs and SFXs Sound Very Funny.
Jade's Skin is White.
Hey Dr.Fat! Do You want Me to do some Specific VidCap? (No Endings Pleeze, because Kintaro Beats Me Up.)

I have a GameShark character modifier for this, which includes identifiers for the hidden characters and bosses. It's really glitchy, though. The hiddens and bosses aren't really playable at all without locking the game up. But there's some exceptions. I never completely finished play-testing it to see what exactly causes what, but as soon as I do, I'll add it to the Bible. Until then, here's some pics. And no, they're not fake. These were taken in Video Game Station while using [PEC], a PSX emulator extension that allows you to use Action Replay/GameShark/GameBuster v2.2 codes with emulated PSX games:

The fighting area of the PSX version is messed up, which allows you to kill Kintaro pretty easily if you have Shang Tsung.
Get across the screen from Kintaro, and throw a single Flaming Skull. Kintaro will do his Fly Stomp, but since the arena is too small horizontally, the skull will hit him. Keep throwing the fireballs as fast as you can and he'll be hit every time.
If you're REALLY fast you can juggle him to death...but if not, he'll try his fly stomp every time you throw a skull, and get hit.
The graphics on MK2 PSX are gorgeous, yes...but...the everything else is just WAY off.

I use to have that version of MKII for the PlayStation1. My friend bough it for me when he went to Mexico during the Summer Break. He said there's a lot. The only problem was that version of MKII didn't seem to work on my PlayStation for some strange reason. Good post, btw.

Fuzzdork was telling me in order to play MKII you need a modded PS1 or in this case a Jap PS1.I have a question is the PS1 version arcade perfect?

Nice game, right Ketchup?
I sometimes play it more than the Saturn version, because it feels so arcade-y.
But the Saturn still is as good as this version.
Bah, lemmi shut up now. Enjoy your game.

Right!! There's a Lot of them, I also got The Classic MK3, but some FriendShips Freeze The Game, and Besides, I'm not able to Find P2 Unlimited Run GameShark Code.
MKII for PS®1 it's not Arcade Perfect... The BGMs and SFXs will make You Laugh! For Sure!; In Fact, at The Ending Credits it says:
"Music:
PC Music"
but it's Pretty Close for being a Home Game... The Size of The Characters look HUGE Compared to The SNES Version.
The Ending Pics are HUGE! About The Missing SFXs, I·E: Subbie Ice Shattering Fat., You Hear The Foe's Cry, but not The BOOM!
I shouldn't be Telling this; but instead The Modded PS®1, You may Use an Emulator.

That's what my friend told me as well. Although I didn't know where to begin looking for that. Every time I put the disk onto my PlayStation console, it read the disk as a normal CD player. There was only one song, and when you click on it, it didn't play.

hey I have the US version which was never released, I don't know why... but one of my friends gave the disk to me, I didn't want to get my PS2 modchipped.
Is there a way to play it with gameshark? I have gameshark version 3 but I don't know, is there a possibility to play MK2 with it?

There is no unreleased US version. What you have is the JP. The JP is in English, so it may appear to be US. Whoever told you it was US was wrong. As for the GS question, I don't think so. Try Breaker Pro.

They were hidden characters. You couldn't play as them, but they were in there.
