Personally, I would love to see the older games come back on the new stations. They were the best MK's ever. (even though I like the 3D's too). I was kind of thinking that Midway should Release MK Trilogy again because it had every character from MK-MK3 and secret characters. They already released the Midway Arcade Treasures (MK1,2,3) but I think it was cool to have all of the characters in ONE game. I was thinking maybe for PS2, PS3, PSP, and possibly having it for XBox 360 live. Comments??

Oh yeah!!!!!
It would be so cool when Ed Boon says it ́s all right and we have a good performance in the marketing of the old games like midway ́s arcade treasures and we can allready remake the mortal kombat trilogy for the new platforms you know. I ́m self a great fan about these games it ́s just nice to play it and look for the old times and every MK game is an original but i heard it ́s giving an ultimate mortal kombat 3 game for xbox live playing. I ́d seen it in the web...

Trilogy was kool for its time, but I don't know if bringing it back would be the best decision for a few reasons. One being that there were separate versions for the game assigned to separate companies. The one for Playstation is arguably the best because it included all characters (plus Chameleon) and plenty of arenas. The one for N64 lacked in many areas, namely music and graphics compared to the PS1, but had newer arenas designed just for that specific game and their Khameleon character (female) actually had a good storyline. It also had Fatalities for boss characters like Shao Kahn and Motaro, but in all honesty, these Fatalities weren't very well thought out.

Therefore, they would have a problem releasing the same edition for Xbox, Ps3, and Wii, unless they redesigned the entire thing using graphics of the characters from the arcade ports of each game they were from and made all characters playable, including both Chameleon and Khameleon. There might be a chance of seeing the N64 version on the Wii Shop Channel, and the PS1 version for whatever it is that PS3 has, but I don't see them doing this, as the MK team usually spends most of their work on future projects.
