Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Hey, i've been scoping around to pick up Mortal Kombat Trilogy, though now i'm curious which is the better version... the Playstation or the Nintendo 64? or is it just personal preference?
Also, what about the original MK and MKII, were the SNES ports worth finding and picking up?

It's personal preference as far as MKT goes. Most opt for the PSX version due to more stages and characters and overall better sound quality plus the one button Fatality code.
I'd say the SNES port of MK1 should be avoided. It's good, but theres no blood. It looks really rubbish due to it when doing Fatalities. MK2 however is brilliant.

MKT for the N64 doesn't have Unmasked Sub-Zero, MK2 Kung Lao, MK2 Jax, MK1 Raiden, MK1 Kano, Chameleon, Kintaro and Goro. The look of the game for N64 is pretty terrible too. PSX version has all of those characters plus everyone else, just not Khameleon (she sucks anyway). The PSX version also looks a whole lot better than the N64 version. Get The Greatest Hits PSX version of the game. It is the most balanced release of MKT.
MK1 for SNES isn't very good, and I don't recommend getting it. MK2 for SNES is actually a pretty good port, and it would be a good buy for less than $10.

You really can't play all of it for the PS2, because once you beat Kahn or finish tournament mode the game locks up and you can't pick your prize. Still, the PSX version is the way to go.
