To play as Motaro and Shao Kahn you must enter the Stage Select code first - highlight Sonya and press Up+Start. Then:

Motaro - Choose the Desert or Wastelands stage and before the match starts press and hold Back+HK+LK. When the match starts your character will morph into Motaro.

Shao Kahn - Select the either Rooftop, Pit 3, or Kahn's Kave. Before the match starts, hold Down+HP+LP. Your fighter should morph into Kahn at the beginning of the battle.
And as for the bonus menus, you must quickly enter BLK, HK, LK, RUN, LP, HP, HP, HP, LP, LP during the story screen. If it is done right you'll hear ''Uh-huh'" and additional menus will be available in the Options screen.

It didnt work

The 2 Dragon logos are Human Smoke, and Khameleon.

You can play as Kahn or Motaro with codes similar to the UMK3 Human Smoke codes, but they can only be used on certain levels. Enable level select to make it easier.

Play as Khameleon
When the Story screens appear, qucikly press: Right C, Up C, A, B, Down C, Up C, Right C.
If you're fast, you'll hear Shao Kahn say Khameleon, and he'll be selectable at the character select screen.

Play as Shao Khan
After entering the Stage Select code, choose your fighter and select ''The Pit 3'' as your Stage. before the match begins, hold Down+A+B. Your fighter should explode into Kahn. You can play as Kahn in 2 other stages, but I can't remember what they are. I think Kahn's Kave is one.

Play at Motaro
After entering the Stage Select code, choose your fighter and select either "The Balcony", "The Rooftop", or ''Jade's Desert'' as your Stage. before the match begins, hold Left (on D-Pad)+Low Kick+High Kick simultaneously. Your fighter should explode into Motaro.

You actually have to be moderately fast when dialing the code, so try and do it faster.

This sounds like the code that lets you pick one "?" box but will not allow you to pick khameleon/smoke.

Then whats the real code?

Put in the code mortalman gave you, go to options turn "khameleon" on and she will be selectable.

Dude, the easiest way is to do this man.


Once you turn on your N64, you will get the story screen.On that screen quickly type in the following buttons.

or if this is better for you:C ^, C>, C(down), A, B, B, B, A, A then you will hear an "Vual la" sound same as when you hold down on the dead pool stage after you knock someone into it.It's the same sound man.


Then once you hear that, hit Up and start and you will be able to select the codes in the game from all 3 question marks.

In one of them, you will be able to unlock Human Smoke and Khameleon, unlimited run, option to choose stages, more blood, etc.

At the top of this(and any) page, click on "MK3", then select MK Trilogy from the list. There will be info for all versions of Trilogy.
