Yeah, that would be cool. Especially the idea of remaking the classics into 3-D. I get the impression that the new MKs are reliving the past. I don't know about you, but MKDA reminded me of MK 1, while MKD looks more like MKII. Exact remakes would be cool, but I think that they (developers) are doing this but with the new MKs. Peace.

I don't think it would be too much to ask for them to just put the 3D sprites into a 2D environment, give them a moveset like HP HK LP LK and give them their 4 best attacks from their styles. This could be a bonus "Classic Style" gameplay option like they have in Virtua Fighter 4.

What I don't like is MKDA and MKD looking so much alike design-wise. I mean, they got the same 3D sprites with the same skins.

Not like MK1-MK4, where the characters not only had different designs, they also had different sprites. It was like you weren't playing the same game.

They just did this with PRince of Persia. A recent 3d prince of persia game had a 3d remake of the old school prince of persia on it. I saw the original and the 3D side by side and they did a really good job of reproducing it I thought, especially since it was bonus material. I see no reason not to do the same with MK.

There seems to be an increasing number of people who want new 2D games, and 3D remastered classic games. I don't think realize how easy it would be to make some serious cash lol.
