I hate writing like 2 paragraphs and then accidentally hitting reset.

Anyway since we now know Noob Saibot is really MK1 Sub-Zero (SZ1) in wraith form, do you all think this has been planned for a while? Do you think Ed Boon or whoever had this plot element in store for us ever since UMK3? In UMK3, SZ1's ending says he'll be in the next game, and Noob Saibot WAS in the next game so that solves that. And he first appeared in MK2, after MK1 where SZ1 died...so that makes sense. Do you all think they had this planned? Since MK2? MK3? UMK3? I'm guessing the earliest they had it planned was UMK3...

"Is it so important that you win one last argument with him?" "No, it is not, but it is true that I will miss the arguments; they were, finally, all that we had."

I highly doubt it. Much of the continuity that's been established before Tobias left the gang was scrapped by Vogel (like Cage's death before MK3, which I wished they didn't get rid of; it was a cool change for the character), so I doubt that the idea that Noob Saibot was elder Subby was one idea they kept. Most likely, it was a 'what if' scenario created by Vogel, and not supposed to be canon in the overall storyline (for my reasoning why the two ninjas couldn't be one, check out my post in the Noob Saibot is...*SPOILER* thread).

No way. If it was planned from the beginning they would have given him a story earlier. The guy didn't even have a bio till MKT.
