I havent read the last few pieces because then i would forget my thoughts.....but to go short: the fact that kitana turned against shao kahn, fought for her realm and turned good, says to me that kitana isnt evil by nature...a really evil person would probably also wanted to kill shao kahn(revenge)but wouldnt want to restore edenia into its beautiful state again...an evil person doesnt care about her/his people and the state of his/her realm...the fact that kitana fights against evil all the time and made an alliance with the earth warriors, says to me that she is good by nature...
I dont know why kitana killed people 10000 years, I myself think that she didnt know better or is just very loyal...I suppose reptile also knows that what he was doing, wasnt good, but he stays loyal to his masters....maybe kitana is very loyal as well....

what I would like to know, is if mileena knew she wasnt kitana's sister...I think she does, because shang tsung made her...but Id like to know how mileena could keep her mouth shut for 10000 years and if she came later into kitana's life, why wasnt kitana surprised she had a sister....I dont get that part at all

Regarding Mileena, I think Mileena either didn't know she was a clone or she refused to believe it. I mentioned this in the Mileena analysis, but in MK Gold when Kitana says Mileena is a clone she starts to freak out, so I think she either truly didn't know or was in denial about it.

Mileena was probably introduced to Kitana early on in her life. Kitana probably was suspicious, but didn't think too much about it. When Mileena wears a mask she does look exactly like Kitana so Kahn could've just made up a story like Mileena was lost and her face was scarred after they were born or something like that. Since Kitana was genuinly loyal to Kahn at the time and believed he was her father, she would have no reason to question him.

That's my take on the situation.

Im not sure where, but ive read somewhere that mileena was very well aware of the fact that shang tsung made her, since she was a tarkatan before...I believed the text said that mileena had to do something for tsung in change of him making her beautiful.....but I dont know if its a false story, because the text didnt say that she would be ''' princess mileena''...so it doesnt fit the MK story very well......but its an alternative.....I personally think that the whole kitana/mileena story(and others) has very much loose endings....the whole thing doesnt fit perfectly...maybe the MK-team didnt even think about it as well as we do now, when they made their stories

In the games Mileena is a complete clone of Kitana with some Tarkatan essence mixed in.

Where did MK4/MK Gold take place? I want so badly to believe that it was Edenia.

Her relationship with Liu Kang should have definitely been developed more. Do you think that Liu Kang's lack of development could somehow ruin their pairing? Do you think it's possible that maybe a Kitana/Kung Lao pairing is in the future? It's just felt like you were hinting at it in your story. Who would you have preferred her with: Liu Kang, Kung Lao, or Rain(possibly?)?

I consider her to be a champion of Edenia. Maybe it's just me but I hope it wasn't too easy for her to be accepted by her people after all the crimes she comitted. I would also like Edenia to be more developed. I also hope the other Edenians(Jade, Sindel, Rain) are developed more.

I like how you explained her relationship to Goro, also. I think they ruined him big time when they put him in MKD on Gamecube. He had an honorable death. What more did they want from him? They would have been better off bringing either a centaur(not Motaro) or another shokan(maybe Kintaro?). Do you think Goro's son or one of his seven wives should make an appearance because he was murdered by Noob-Saibot?

I consider Kitana/Mileena to be the most interesting rivalry in the game. Maybe because I'm a girl. I just absolutely LOVE the role reversal in MKD.

I think Kitana finding out the truth during MK2 is well. . .dramatic. Wouldn't it be a retcon or contradict with the MK2 game or comic, though?

I believe MK4/Gold took place in Edenia. I believe Shinnok's bio mentions his escaping the Netherealm into Edenia with Tanya's help. Also in Baraka's ending he says Quan Chi is sitting on Sindel's throne. I'm fairly certain it's made clear in other bios/ending that they're mostly in Edenia.

Liu Kang's lack of developement does hinder their relationship. A little developement would've helped. Personally though, I'd rather he stay dead...or at least gone. I'd like to see Kitana trying to get over him for a game or two before she moves on.
I don't see Kitana getting with Kung Lao though. I would think it'd be a little awkward since Kung Lao is Liu Kang's best friend. If Rain comes back I'd like to see him try to get with her. It would depend on how Rain developes if he comes back.

I'd also like to see Edenia's pre-Outworld history be explored a bit more, along with Jade and the others involved. I also agree Goro should've stayed dead.

Kitana learning the truth during MK2, as far as I know wouldn't contradict anything. Her MK2 endings says "Through her years working a san assassin, she's learned many secrets about her past." I always took that to mean she found out the truth some time before MK2, but some people believe she figured everything out during MK2 itself.
It could work either way...just as long as they don't say she was brainwashed by Shao Kahn. Aside from that really not making sense(why brainwash an infant?), it'd just be dumb.

I also find the whole brainwash idea to be stupid because why Shao Kahn would do that unless she found out wayyyy ahead of time. Even then, it doesn't make sense. It would probably be more sensible to use Jade as a bargaining chip.

I think Sindel is the key to finding out more about Edenia's past before Kahn, just like I believe Khameleon is the key to finding out more about Zaterra. Do you think Kitana should have killed Sindel in MKD? Was there any evidence to support a possible Sindel/Hotaru rivalry I heard about in another thread?

Speaking of Sindel, did she and Jade play any role in MK4 or MKDA? Were they mentioned in the games or comics? If not, what were they doing during that time?

I would like for Jade as an individual to be fleshed out more. What led to there friendship? I can't wait for her rivalry with Tanya to be developed more.

I also want Tanya to be fleshed out, too. What was she doing before Shinnok? Did she have any connection to Khan? I would like for her and Mileena to team up against Jade and Kitana in the future.

MKD for Mileena was bittersweet. She is inches from getting what she wants and she dies. I HATE THAT. I so hope that this isn't true. I want her and Baraka to rule Edenia together and become a force to be reckoned with. But I guess that can't happen with Kitana's army. Wasn't her MK3/UMK3/MKT ending have her and Baraka becoming rulers of Outworld and holding another tournament with Baraka as the champion? I would rather that happen as opposed to them working under someone again. What do you think?

I pretty much prefer Kitana with Kung Lao for some reason. Your story also sealed the deal for me. I find his reluctance to be a hero quite endearing, understandable, and most of all...HUMAN. But I understand why you wouldn't want them to be together. If Liu Kang stayed dead, I think it would have eventually happened.

If Liu Kang and their relationship been developed more, then I would be behind them 100%. Perhaps they might rectify that after his resurrection. I don't have a problem with Liu being ressurected, it's the timing I don't like; it's too soon. I just hope his supposedly shady past is finally explored. He's supposed to be the main character, the HERO, yet Sub-zero and Kung Lao are more developed than him. I liked the way he was portrayed in MK1 movie better because he was only in the tournament for somewhat selfish reasons like everyone else. Wouldn't it be a twist if his brother, Chow, was the one who desecrated his grave? I would also like to know what he was doing in America. I believe Kai could shine some light on that. I also believe that Raiden resurrected him, made him darker, and becomes Raiden's champion so he could help him rule Earthrealm with an iron fist.

As for Kitana/Rain, I don't want that happening just yet. Do you think they may have had a past together? Ithink Rain should fit into the Jade/Tanya rivalry storyline. I've stated before that I want Rain to come back as a neutral character. I read somewhere that in Konquest(DA or D ?) Jade was looking for Rain, who has become a renegade, is this correct? If so, I can see Jade wanting him to help Edenia in Kitana's absence and Tanya trying to persuade( or seduce) him into joining the dark side once again. Afterall, he betrayed Edenia once whose to say he won't do it again. It's not as if he will be working for Shao Kahn again anyway. He would be conflicted between the two women, their promises, and his future. Does he choose the path to redemption or regression? You see I want him to go this route first.

I think it would be interesting to see a Rain/Kitana relationship. MKSM seems to try to expand on the relationship between Liu Kang and Kitana which can be a good or bad thing depending on how they execute it.

I think Shinnok is more likely the one who reanimated Liu Kang's body.
