OK. How to fight Reptile in MAME/Arcade Version?

Well, I know all about those 2 flawless victory in the Pit stage, no blocking, and fatality, will make Reptile appear.

But the problem is: those flying things do not appear on the moon in any game that I am playing.

How is this possible?

40 battles? In versus mode or arcade mode? Well, this will sure take a while.

Your choice how u get through the 40. U can play a 1 player game and just lose to the first opponent 40 times and then look for the shadow over the moon, or play a 2 player game and switch to one player after 40 battles. cant access reptile in a 2 player game even if there is a shadow over the pit.
