Greetings,
~ GENERAL STUFF
Okay, here's the deal pirates!
I have the impression that in the PAL zone (Europe and Australia) not many, if any, tournaments of Mortal Kombat are held. Especially where I live there doesn't seem to be much of a fighting tradition (unless there is an underground MK movement I do not know of :)).
So, if ANYONE knows of ANY Mortal Kombat tournament in either Europe or Australia, please post it here. I think it would be good to (1) raise the level of the PAL players, (2) share experience and tips (there seem to be some, if minor, differences between the PAL and NTSC version) and (3) to develop somewhat of a tournament tradition.
~ LOCAL STUFF
As for me personally, I live in Belgium. Are there any players in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, the UK or France who know of tournaments being organised that I or my countrymen might enter in (i.e. not too far a distance)?
If not, perhaps WE could organise one ourselves? This is just an idea. Things may very well start out as very local and small-scale with no real trophies attached. Just coming together and sharing experience (and of course beat each other senseless).
Peace all,
Q
PS: Mods could you make this a sticky to make sure PAL players look at this topic? *puppy eyes*

Ahh, somehow I knew I could count on those good old Britons :).
Birmingham eh? Well... that might be a bit far for me but I *could* give it a try if it's confirmed that MK:DA will be played there ànd if I don't have anything else keeping me occupied (like a summer job).
Thanks for the info though!

Sorry guys, putting this one on top again since the mods still haven't taken notice (I think I'm going to cry :D).

I'd like to know if there's any going on in Australia...in Sydney, in particular.

Well, as for that XS Gameshow, it's been cancelled apparently, don't know why, but it's not happening
