He morphs a lot but also has fireballs.

1) does he shapeshift in mk1?

Yes, and it's much better in MK1 than it is in the other games. There is very little delay when he morphs and he can morph in and out of them at any time he wants. For example, in MK II if he morphs into Raiden he has to stay as Raiden until he automatically morphs back. In MK1 he can morph into Raiden, do a quick teleport, and then immediatly morph back.

Also note he can morph into all 7 playable characters and Goro.


2) are his moves "regular" (like the rest of the characters') or stronger? (like goro/kintaro/kahn)


He has no regular moves of his own. When morphed into another character his attack power is the same as anyone else.

He does have one special move though...


3) what are his spells\special moves?


The skull fireballs. Unlike other games, he isn't limited to 3 at a time. They're also much more powerful. You'll often see him do 4, 5 even like 6 in a row.

Besides them he has no other attacks of his own.


For the most part he fights very defensively. He floats back away from you most of the time and often morphs into Raiden to teleport away. Usually when he morphs he will do one or two moves as the person then morph back and go back to floating away. Occasionally he morphs into Goro and becomes offensive.

On most home versions he is very easy. On arcade he's not exactly hard, but is more of a challenge.
