question about the lin Kuei...

Ok... so in Mythologies and the MK comic (and I think MK1...not sure) they either say or imply that Lin Kuei ninjas have ice powers... but then we have Sektor, Cyrax, Smoke, etc., and in MKDA they say frost is speciall cause she has ice powers!!! So.... Is this a plot hole or something?

No, not all Lk have ice. I don't know the comics but it does not say that in MKM

Agreed. Only Sub-zero family line have the knowlegde of Kori powers, and of course Frost has Kori powers just like the past and present sub-zeros. I guess she found out to do it as well.

Remember - Smoke is in the Lin Kuei, and he has powers but not ice powers.

Smoke is constantly emitting from his body... he's supposed to be able to control it at will and even use it as a layer of fog to hide himself.

He can also teleport by transforming his whole body into smoke

In MKM they say some ice move is "essential to every lin kuei assassin" ... and then call other ice techniques "Lin Kuei powers"

Although it was never really a special move in any of the games, it almost seems like a given that he could do that.

Mainly, it's been used in non-canon sources (MK Malibu Comics, Defenders of the Realm, etc.) here's a couple pics from the MK Kard Game that show some unique uses for Smoke's abilities:
