why is this rated "m?" there's no blood or guts in it. is there some other reason why it's "m"

The Gameboy version of MK3 had nothing. Any blood or guts were barely visible on it.

I just figured one version of MK3 was reviewed (no idea which one) and they were allowed to release all other versions without needing separate reviews and ratings so long as it was guaranteed they weren't any worse. But thats just a guess.
