I already know we probably aren't going to get the original arcade owner's menus, like you can find in Mame by pressing F2...where you can change stuff and see audits and such..but instead we'll get an emulated dipswitch on the emulator side of the game (like in MAT1 where you can configure game options), do you guys agree?

But one thing that's annoying is that you have to go to the game options, outside of the game, to select a two player game...

do you think for MAT2 that you can just load the game and play a 1 player game and if a 2P wants to join in he can just press start? Instead of exiting to a menu..

That stuff will be avaialble in probably a more user friendly interface. Instead of like "press player 1 up or down stick to select" and Player Button etc, it'll probably look like a normal video game options screen. All the things you can change that would matter on a home system have been there in previous games. You're not going to be changing pricing and put on freeplay and stuff, if anything FREEPLAY probably and should be on the screen. Things like sound, which is changable in the dips on the arcade, is usually a normal option on all games, difficult as well. Things like burn in test, monitor flip, etc, are just not necessary things to be there, however, since they are using the arcade roms, yes all that will in fact be there, even if it's accessible.
