AGreed, D Raiden is Awesome cause hes not an asshole trying to rule everything like your average villan, Hes Medievil you could say, it does fit him very well and he has a right to get mad at Shujinko, He fcuked up BAD! so he died, (Even if not clutch he still died) I wouldnt mind the least bit if he was still D Raiden for YEARS to come, he can fight Fujin for that title if the Elders feel Raidens is running amuk, The WHo knows mabey Fujin wins and is the God Of Thunder

I think Dark Raiden should turn out to be a clone of Raiden,

Then have a Good/Light Raiden Come back, so they will have a Dark raiden on Evil's Side, and a Raiden on Good's Side. Thats My idea.

I think Dark Raiden is a ballsy move for MK. I like it. Raiden has always been a goodie goodie, and when he got beat, he got angry like a baby. I like the turn and hope it develops as the games progress.

I would love to see SubZero bite the dust though

If there going to turn raiden dark, then why not get rid of Sub-zero and turn him into another Noob Saibot.

In other Words: Dark Raiden was a Really Stupid Idea.

But there is a Little proof that Raiden is not staying Dark, His traiding Card has the Light Version of Him. If they were turning him dark, they would of have a Dark Version of him on the Card. Thats only My opinion.

I personally like the Dark Raiden concept and it gives new life to his very flat storyline. He's always been one of my favorite characters, but I do admit that he never had too much going on in his personal character other than defying the Elder Gods from time to time in order to side with the Earthrealm warriors against the forces of evil.

I think that since you can only get Raiden after beating the main Konquest missions, they didn't want to reveal Raiden's new look.

I personall think Dark Raiden sucked donkey balls! Did the guys at Midway forget he is 7 feet tall? To me he looks short

I like Raiden best as he was in MK1 and 2. When he wasn't the "Protector of Earth," when he was just a crazy mystical guy who shot lightning bolts at people because he was bored. So to me, "Dark" Raiden is him sort of back to normal.

It is interesting seeing the downfall of a heroic character. I also think it's interesting how while Raiden goes "dark," they reveal that Shao Kahn was once like Raiden. Coincidence? I doubt it.

So yeah, I'm all for "Dark" Raiden. It reminds why I like Raiden in the first place and it creates several new possibilities for the future. Looking forward to see where it goes.

He's not evil. He's just more tempermental and far less tolerant. I still feel the Dark Raiden concept is a great one.

Btw, Havik didn't make a clone of Shao Kahn in his ending.

Quite unoriginal and repetitive if you ask me. However, dark raiden and raiden as two entites could be a bomb if they would share the same body.
