There's been talk about being able to unlock rain by opening every koffin in the krypt and then open RA and IN. Press start left on frost. Is this true? or is it Noob Saibot?

i dont think the trick is in the krypt but i dont know, i just know what ive tried n thats a couple thousand different combos of buttons while in the krypt. i did just about every combo with 5 buttons in each. I shit you not, it took me a couple hours n thats just a fragment of the possible combos that could be done in the krypt

now, the whispers can say just about anything, i believe in people hearing what they want to hear. the whispers are mumbled and can be heard as anything.

people want to hear the saibot thing so they do. i heard the saibot thing cause i was trying to hear it after being told about it.

ok, listen very closely

RAIN IS NOT IN MKDA. HE NEVER WAS! AND NEVER WILL BE! THAT "CODE" U FOUND WAS A RUMOR THAT WAS IMMEDIATLY DISPROVED BACK WHEN MKDA FIRST CAME OUT

other things to remeber:shao kahn isn't in mkda, liu kang isn't in mkda, noob saibot isn't in mkda, moloch is only playable with a gameshark, blaze and mokap dont have fatalities and there is only one fatality

I did this for a couple hours till i heard it, so dont tell me im hearing what i wanna hear. oh yeah and the "effects" your talkin about, its called delay that they put on the voice to make it real hard to figure out cause everything gets repeated n scrambled on top of each thing just about. and thats why the shit repeates too. so listen to the shit, real carefully n see what u think its sayin instead o sayin people are hearin what they want. ive spent too much time on this particular topic to sit here n let u tell me im hearin shit, whatever man.

I believe you when you say that you hear the whispers correctly... But it's just a gag to keep players, well, playing MK:DA. It's like in UMK3 Arcade, where there was a versus screen code that when entered, the words "Rain can be found in the Graveyard" would appear. Plus, in the demo, one would see him fighting against Shao Kahn in front of the blue portal stage. But guess what? He wasn't in UMK3 until the Genesis and SNES versions of the game came out. Do I believe that the whispers say "Time will lead you to Saibot"? Yes. Do I believe that he's in the game? No, and chances are he's not. They could've just meant that MK:TE was going to have Noob Saibot too.

yeah i follow u jerrod, for all i know he's not in the game, n im wrong, that very wello could be the case, however i like to keep my hopes up. maybe its a waste of time but id just like to see that there is a true hidden character. Could be a waste of time but it just keeps my hopes up i guess

have you checked the sticked entitled "hacking mkda" if so i believe Garret has checked every folder and there is no model, text or anyhting that relates to rain or noob meening they arent contained in the game.

I followed that thread and it seems like he only got so far and got tired of it. Had a hard time getting into things. So it has not been confirmed that any other characters are not in there. That means that they could be in there. But it does not mean that they are in there. Darn Button Combos!!!

i've tried hackin my disc n got really no where with it. I found a few intersting things but nothin really that would relate to hidden characters. But i dunno, hackin games n stuff isnt my particular field
