Recently, i was on the kombat pavilion, and i say an article about shao kahn and reiko. At first they were 2 different characters, but at the end, he said they were the same person based off of a game boy color version of mk4. But since mk armageddon is coming out, and all of the mk characters are coming back. Reiko and Kahn are 2 different people. DO you think they were the same person, but were seperated? Or do you think they were never the same person?

"Shao Kahn" died in MK:DA, but apparently it wasn't Shao Kahn.

I always had a feeling it was Reiko. If that is what happened, I don't know how they are going to explain it.

If reiko was kahn at some point, shouldn;t he of been the boss in mk4?

If they are the same person, Reiko would be the weaker side of Kahn. Once Kahn was defeated twice in a row, he became weak, hence not being the boss.

And in his ending, when he puts the helmet back on, he gains his power back.



Or something.

Reiko is not Shao Kahn,his MK4 ending was made to add some mistery to the character,i think this issue was solved in MKD's Konquest Mode,talk to Shao Kahn in konquest and you'll see waht i mean.

Ya what Reptile said.Reiko likes wearing kahns helmet thats why u see the mask goin on his head.Besides Kahn is taller bigger and stronger then reiko and they dont sound the same.

Reiko is not Shao Kahn, His MK4 ending was a joke. In MKD Ed Boon poked fun at this by having Shao Kahn give you a side mission saying Reiko has been wearing his helmet and Reiko says "I like wearing his helmet". I believe in Kahn's GC MKD bio it said something about a clone, possibly Reiko. Not to mention on Kahn's MKD kard it lists Reiko as an ally.

okay i understand that. but,mim still not conviced that Reiko isnt Kahn. There's no outstanding evidence that Reiko and Shao Kahn are 2 different people. Besides MKA where they are shown in the Game imformer as two different people. But we've covered that. So someone, ANYONE, convince me thet Reiko and Kahn are 2 different people!!!furiousfuriousfuriousfuriousfurious

1. the MK4 Reiko ending was retconned and only a playful joke.
2. Reiko is Kahn's either general or clone
3.Reiko just likes wearing Kahn's stuff, that is all

You mean aside from them both being in Armageddon?
Aside from Reiko's MK4 bio implying he's been in Shinnok's service for thousands of years?
Aside from Ed Boon and John Vogel both comfirming Reiko and Shao Kahn are not the same guy?

It's easy, Reiko isn't Kahn, and he only likes wearing Kahn's helmet because he is a general of Shao Kahn's armies and probably wants to be emperor. It's just like an custodian of a big buisness sneaking up to the "Big Guy's" office and havind a seat in his chair. But, if that won't convince you, simply look at each of them. Kahn has spike things sticking out of his head when he takes his mask off, while Reiko has painted eyes, hair, and looks pretty much human. Kahn, however, looks more half Tarkata.

Now I know why they didn't put Reiko in any other games. THe second they say that he's in the new game he comes back up as being Shao Kahn. It was a joke from the start. They speciafically said that it was a big hoax that they thought would just get shock value for a while then they would continue to make fun of it, which they did in Deception.

I also read that at the Pavillion and I got mad. I likke the Pavillion but that article, oh man, it was sooooo dogmatic about fake news.

I'm sorry if this sounded mean, I didn't eman to, I just want to blow my brains out every time I hear the names Reiko and Kahn in the same sentence.
