What? Why the hell did Liu deserve to die and be punished? He saved the world by defeating Shang Tsung in MK1, Kahn in MK2 and 3, and Shinnok in MK4. If you ask me he deserves to have a fucking monument named after him. He deserves his own fucking holiday. He's a fucking hero! What the fuck did he ever do to you?!

Anyway...If I was Raiden, and I could have saved Liu Kang, I would have.

Queve, I dont think you understand the question very well. You might hate the character, but if you were Rayden, and you would've gotten the chance, would you save the champion of mortal kombat?

Anyway, obviously I would. With my god powers, I would've killed Shang Tsung and Quan Chi in a blink of an eye, though I'm not sure if I would be allowed to do that by the elder gods. But yeah, I would try to save Liu Kang.

Well as an Elder God, Raiden could no longer interfere with what happen on earth. I'm sure he did foresee the death of Liu Kang, but maybe not until after his death did he see the danger of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. If I was Raiden I would not have saved him, but only tell him that his life is in danger

As Elder God, If I foresaw Liu's death and could not save him myself, then I would have at least alerted Fujin to try and prevent it or something. I realize that Liu wasn't popular but as Earth's champion he deserved to be prepared for it.
