what is a run step, and a run cancel, and what are they used for? examples?

Run Step 1: When you take small choppy steps holding the run button and tapping forward to move in close, almost like wave dashing in the vs series, it's very useful.

Run Step 2: When you do a launcher combo, and walk forward, your run bar/combo meter will increase as they fall to the ground, allowing most characters to get at least and extra juggle jab before finishing with a jump kick or projectile, or jump kick to air throw.

Run Cancel: Hitting run to make a HP, or LP jab's animation frames cut practically in half. This is useful for ground rush down, enhancing juggles, etc. Jabs can be canceled with any button, but if you cancel with another attack and hold the button, that attack, or action will happen. The reason run is the most useful is because when you press the run button, it has no noticeable function on it's own, except it disables special moves, so if you hold run and tap back back LP with Scorpion, you will not be able to do a harpoon.

Here is an example of all three in one situation:

As Human Smoke, teleport next to your opponent and land relatively safely, LP (connects for chip damage), cancel with run* to cut the frames down, LP again, cancel with run*, if opponent attempts to counter, beat them to to it with HK, LP, jump kick, teleport punch, spear, HK, D+LP, D+HP, hold forward briefly, as they drop time a run step* HP juggle by tapping run, then immediately HP juggle, then immediately cancel with run*, jump kick, air throw.

While where kinda on the subject of moves and stuff i was wondering if anybody had any good sugestions for cyrax combos that i could use against the computer on mk3.So far i just been screwing around i usally get the opponent in the net then roundhouse them and drop a close bomb then get them in a net again roundhouse them into the bomb then aahp and air throw thats only 3 or 4 hits. Im looking for something that looks cool with big damage i know there has to more stuff out there.

I've got some really insane bomb combos for MK3 but I don't know how possible they are against the CPU.

Long bomb when they are far away, they run in, RH, drop another long bomb, hits bomb, aaHP HP JK, hit bomb, aaHP HP air throw, is 100% or HK, or RH is 98%. Modify around that I guess.

Thanks ill try to see if i can i do something like that if its possible against the computer thanks again.
