Can someone clearify that Takeda is a real character?

They still think Scorpion is Monster and that Takeda from the show is a real character.

True! I never play Subzero Mythologies. So i can't browes though a booklet looking for the name Takeda.

Takeda - founder of the Shirai Ryu ninja clan. Formerly a Lin Kuei warrior, the Japanese warrior went rogue and established his own clan. He eventually died from poisoning, but his body was kept by the clan as a mark of respect. The sorcerer Quan Chi took his remains from them after he had destroyed the clan, presenting the skeleton to the Lin Kuei Grandmasters as part of a deal.
