There have been a lot of characters rumored to be in the MK games.

Ermac was lied to the world as being in MK I along with a character known as Nimbus.

MKII was the same. Character named Hornbuckle was rumored. (Americanized version of Liu Kang if I remember right"
Keebler Elves and again Ermac. None which were found.

MKIII--Can't recall if any were rumored.

Thats all I can think of.

it was rumored at my place that you can play as cage in mk3 at graveyard stage ;
ppl rumored also for mk1 that you can fight against ermac on the throne room when there are pictures on the wall because sometimes they are missing lol

Noob is in mk3, not a rumor. unless u meant playable. I have never heard about the Keebler elves rumor. what was it? I also never heard about the throne room thing in mk1. never noticed the missing pictures! I remember when the johnny cage graveyard rumor started. too bad it wasnt true.

I remember rumors of Sonya and Kano being playable in MK2. Johnny Cage and Raiden in MK3. And Rain in UMK3 for the arcade. All of which were of course false.

I remember a skinny guy with oiled hair combed in a "way" and many oily pimples who keeped telling me: Man, you can play agains the flaming guy wich you can see near the pit 2.But i cant tell you how,,its a big secret.I have faced him many times and hi is so difficult,cuz you actually cant punch him or kick him..You can only kill him with projectiles.Only they will affect him.If you try to kill him in a normal way you'll get burn and die really qiuck and you wont do damage to him.....

I know one that was about the ability to morph into kintaro while you're shang tsung. Sadly you can only do that as a fatality...

technically Skarlett was a rumor in MK2, but we know for a fact she doesnt exist
