Hello folks,

I'm playing MK2 under MAME and i'm choosing Shang Tsung. In the Kombat Tomb, is it impossible to knock the ennemy in the spikes ? To the Pit 2, it's BL,D,D,U,D... It's not the same sequence for the two stages ?

I can't perform the jax's friendship... The sequence is BL,U,U,D,D,LK ?

Thanks

I think you have to hold block, in those instances. I could be wrong, but usually, when block is the first button you press, followed by a sequence of directions, that's a good indicator that block is to be held throughout the entire sequence (until you get to the final button to press, usually an action button like high kick or something, then you have to release block for the fatality to work).

Aside from morphing into another character, Shang himself does not have a Kombat Tomb fatality...it only works on the Pit 2.

Shang has never had a Kombat Tomb fatality in the Arcade Versions of MKII.

The only thing I could think of is that it was skipped over by accident and that was it.

Unless somehow, beyond any doubt, that I am wrong, he DOES have a Pit II fatality. I want to say that I've done it, but it has been a long while. You can't do it with how it works on the Pit II. I had to use a hacked version of MKII with infinite fatality time, and just keep pressing up and down ramdonly with HP until it happened. Just haven't been able to repeat it.

Thanks dudes.

I'm almost sure that Shang haven't got a fatality in the kombat Tomb...

I have a another question. When i played with MK2 in arcades, i saw smoke in the living forest behing the trees. But is it possible that i saw smoke in the dead pool behind the windows ? Because under MAME, i can see Smoke behind the window...

thanks

Shang Tsung's Pit Fatality does not work on the Kombat Tomb, and I have no idea why.
