Tsung is a very powerful fighter, but there are other fighter's that can beat him. Like Raiden, Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, Liu Kang already beat his ass, Quan Chi and even Scorpion. That fire ball you rave about is easy to block. Tsung dose have good moves and combos. I like Tsung too, but I don't think he can fuck with Scorpion

Personally I don't see why so many people like Shang. He doesn't seem very strong or even well playable to me.

Shang Tsung has some of the quickest moves and combos in the game. You can stay in close with his snake style and keep the pressure on or swith to Crane and juggle your ass off. In Crane he is, imo, the fastest moving character in the game, you can end up behind someone before they even no it. With that he's great for suprise attacks and, as you said, counter attacks.

I love his soul steal, I can't tell you how many times that move has saved my butt, when ever my life gets low I abuse the hell out of it. And I've gotten many flawless victories because it too.

I use his weapon to keep distance between me and my opponent. He has some quick thrusts that can keep the pressure on as well.

Shang and Scorp, both definately strong fighters. Which one is better? depends solely on your style of play.

Shang's my best guy. He's a very easy character to learn and he has the fastest moves in the game. I would take him over Scorpion any day.

Actually i did! Thats why i just stick w/ raiden. i would learn kung lao, but there is really no point. I have no time and no comp, so ill just wait until mk6.

Tsung is one of the most powerfull characters. He is very fast and has awsome styles.

His moves are indeed fast but very easy to block. Some like Sonyas kiss are much powerfull. Her move is among the best, very usefull to make exelent attacks.

Shang is good, but Scorpion is way better. IMO.

He's alot stronger than Shang, and bigger. And Shang doesn't have a spear.

Lets get real here. Scorpion is more popular and can beat most MK characters. But I don't think he can take on Shang Tsung. The sorcerer can even sap his soul without having to fight him.

Nope. Some of them don't even have souls

i think that Sonya is the best fighter!
But Shang Tsung at max-100% is very powerful!

I been palying with Scorpion yesterday and learnt his moves. He is good, he has always been my favourite character since Mk1 but Shang has changed all that.

Scorpion is too slow and if you miss his spear your left open for a long time. Good powerful combos though and his ninja sword rocks.

Shang is very quick, I'm taking extremly quick. Not just his moves but his movement aswell. He has the best special attack in game in 3D fire and another that is one of the best in soul steal. He has good combos but he isnt phyisically powerful. His weapon is great for defence. If Im low on health I switch to weapon style and hardly ever get hit, this also gives me time to dodge moves and soul steal for health back.

Scorpion is great if your a not so talented gamer and just like straight up beat the shit outa someone.

Shang is a tactical player and is a long range attcker that is awesome at counterstriking.

Give me a break, I can use scorpion to kick anyone's ass, its a matter of how well you control your caracter. My spear never misses and shang doesn't get an oppertunity to steal scorpions soul. If you know how to use your caracter correctly everyone can beat anyone.
