True, I forgot about that one. The Genesis version was good, but Shang Tsung's death was pretty crappy. And I hated how the music stayed the same and didn't change to the victory music in the Genesis version. Oh well, it is the Genesis for that matter.

I hated that. The ONE thing I didn't like about DA was that Shang Tsung and Quan Chi didn't do an uber-death! My favorite is Shinnok's in MK4, and I don't know why.

Kahn's death in many home versions of MK II is different than arcade. Like on Saturn he just lays there on the ground before turning to stone and SNES is missing the awesome "noooooooooooooooooooooo~!" sound.


Same deal with MK3. Lots of variations depending on the version. Saturn UMK3 doesn't scroll through the stages and the building remains there after Kahn dies. MKT for CD systems goes black at the end. N64 has this weird one where bodies fly out of Kahn.

N64 is all kinds of messed up.

Well, at least it's still fun to play. The ending is weird. The first time I saw it I was like "What the hell has Midway done to Shao Kahn dying?! NOOOO!" Oh well, it is the N64 for that matter, lol.

the only death of shao kahn i havent seen is the n64 one. (i hate the fact they changed it in umk3 arcade) but my favorite death for shao kahn was mk2 (arcade and snes).

The N64 one was pretty funny also. Once I saw Raiden fly out of him like 8 times. It's pretty weird, but at least it keeps the arcade feel by ending in Scorpion's Lair.

Say, KungBroken, you wouldn't happen to have the original MK3 ending would you?
